Mark Zuckerman

CEO & Co-Founder

As CEO of CGS Mr. Zuckerman has overall responsibility implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the company. He also gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organizations philosophy, mission, strategy and its annual goals and objectives.

His major functions and areas of accountability include: supporting operations and administration of the Board by advising and informing Board members, and interfacing between Board and staff; overseeing design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services; overseeing financial management along with the CFO and prudently managing organization’s resources within the Board’s guidelines; managing the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures; assuring the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders; overseeing fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders and submitting proposals; overseeing new business development and services delivery in the physical security business. 

In addition to his role as CEO of CGS, Mr. Zuckerman is Chairman and majority owner of Clear Connection, Inc., which he founded in 1986. Clear Connection provides IP-based telecommunication services and solutions along with video and physical security solutions to commercial customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Clear Connection’s technical team serves as a subcontractor to CGS when its expertise is beneficial to the task at hand.
