CGS is one of a very select group of companies that has been granted an Authority to Operate (ATO) on all three service offerings (or lots) covered by the GSA’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA): Cloud Storage; Virtual Machines; and Cloud Hosting.
CGS is one of only two companies to complete the Federal government’s stringent Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. In addition, CGS is the only GSA IaaS BPA awardee to have won in all three functional areas whose current architecture satisfies HSPD-12, OMB Memo 11-11, which mandates HSPD-12 compliance for all new government computer systems.
Based on the awards granted and certifications achieved by CGS, Federal government agencies can now, for the first time, order and implement cloud-based services immediately.
